Musashino Kishimen Honpo is a kishimen specialty udon restaurant located in Kawajima Town. This is my first visit. Closed on Thursdays.
There is a wide variety. While I was also tempted by the walnut, today I ordered the spicy miso meat sauce kishimen (890 yen).
The food was served in just under 15 minutes. The spicy miso isn’t very hot, but it’s notable for its strong ginger flavor. I think it pairs well with kishimen noodles, but the best part was diluting the remaining dipping sauce with more ginger juice and drinking it at the end. My stomach felt warm for a while afterward. The walnut dipping kishimen noodles that my wife ordered also looked really delicious.
