This might be my first time having lunch in Ogose Town. Ogosean Jingoro is a udon restaurant located very close to the Ogose Plum Grove. Its distinctive feature is the namako-style wall architecture. Closed on Tuesdays.
The interior had a calm Japanese-style decor. It was Sunday at 11:00, and we visited right when it opened, with only one other group of customers.
That day, I was somehow thinking about curry udon, but I was curious about a menu item called ‘Hell Udon’ and ordered it in a large portion. You can’t tell from the photo, but the amount of noodles is quite a lot. The soup… this is like a stamina ramen full of vegetables, the stamina ramen from Nyan Nyan.
I started to feel worried halfway through, but somehow I managed to finish it. I bought some pickled plums to take home.
